Episcopal tracks the pages viewed by general visitors for Website performance records. At that time, no personal information is collected. We will not collect any information without you knowingly submitting it to us. We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping all of your personal information confidential.
As a parent, staff member or trustee, you will be provided with a password to access our online community. You will be included in and have access to an online directory. Other members can view your personal information such as your phone number, address, email, etc. You may update this information whenever needed. You can also opt out from sharing your information with the community at any time.
Once you have received your username and password you can protect the integrity of our online community by keeping both confidential. Also remember to log off after every session.
Episcopal will not share your personal information with any third parties for commercial use. However, for the functionality of our online community, we have allowed Whipple Hill, our website developers, access to personal accounts. This company was selected in part for its trustworthiness.
The Episcopal School takes appropriate measures to protect your information. When logged in or using the Donation Page, this site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to ensure secure transmission of your personal data, including credit card information. You should be able to see the padlock symbol in the status bar on the bottom right hand comer of the browser window. The URL address will also start with https:// depicting a secure webpage. SSL applies encryption between two points such as your PC and the connecting server. Any data transmitted during the session will be encrypted or scrambled and then decrypted or unscrambled at the receiving end. This will ascertain that data cannot be read during transmission.
